FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Start with your vision for the session. What is your favourite memory or location as a family/ couple? What season do you prefer? Do you have a loving dog you want to bring along?
Your session can look a little like splashing one another at your favourite beach, glistening in the golden rays while strolling along at sunset, jumping in puddles, exploring the forest and climbing trees, lazy afternoons snuggling in the comfort of your own home, whispering secrets, handholding, tickles- lots of tickles, piggyback rides, and those deep belly laughs which will even have me in hysterics.
Every single session is different and no story is the same. Let me be the one to capture these golden treasures as a piece of your family history.
I will make the call the morning of your session about rescheduling if the rain gods have spoken.
I can adapt to any weather conditions; however, rain is not one of them.
We will look at alternative dates if we aren't able to proceed with our session.
The main thing to remember when selecting an outfit for your photo session is your surroundings. I prefer my clients to feel comfortable in what they wear whilst keeping in mind neutrals and warm gemstone colours really help flatter your complexion. Upon securing your session with me, I will send you my "client wardrobe guide" which has a variety of gowns, dresses, and children's clothes to help take away any stress you might have when styling your family. Check out some of my work on my socials. This will give you some of an idea of where to start with styling.
There is no escaping sickness, and trust me you don’t want it to show in your photos. If you or your little ones are sick on the day of the session, I will happily reschedule for another day. And same goes for me;
If I am unwell, I will let you know asap and we will absolutely find another date. I’ll never turn up to a session unwell, especially when there are beautiful newborn bubbas to protect.
There is no fee to reschedule.
Yes, of cause! I can work out a custom plan where the collection price is broken down into four payments. You simply can’t put a price on freezing time. Get in touch and let’s finally fill those walls with amazing memories.
If the session takes place in the Illawarra, I don't charge any travel expenses. For areas outside of this, I ask the bare minimum for transportation
(car and accommodation.)
The sooner the better to ensure I am available.
Maternity Sessions are usually held anywhere between 34 -38 weeks.
Newborn Sessions are typically held within the first 2 weeks earthside. This is all dependent on how mum and bub are both recovering.
The earlier we have your newborn session, the sleepier and more settled your baby will be. That is not to say I won't photograph an older newborn, absolutely I will, any age is beautiful to capture.
Please note: I only allow for 4 newborn sessions per month to ensure availability for reschedules.
