WHAT TO EXPECT FROM BOOKING YOUR FAMILY SESSION TO RECIEVING YOUR ONLINE GALLERY

BOOKING & CONTRACTS

You can book in with me by submitting a contact form via my website. Feel free to DM me some suitable dates and I will get back to you within 24 hrs with some availabilities.
Next, I will ask you for your email address and it is here I will send you a "get-to-know-you" questionnaire along with my contract which you sign electronically. Following this you will also receive my welcome guide which has all the styling tips and location suggestions.

Upon securing your booking, I will require a 25% deposit along with your completed questionnaire and signed agreement.
I’ll touch base and confirm weather, time and location the week of your session and it is here you will receive a friendly reminder for your remaining invoice.
In my family sessions, we smile and laugh a lot as I capture you just being yourselves. Choose a location that fits in with who you are as a family. Your location should speak to your personalities.

DEPOSIT & LOCATION

Let's get snapping!! It’s the day of your session! Pack up all of your outfits, shoes and accessories and meet at the designated meeting point. Make sure to eat (hungry subjects aren’t happy subjects) and drink lots of water.
I will gently guide you through everything along the way, you don’t have to be nervous! It is my time to make sure you are having the best experience possible where we have so much fun, laugh and get the best photos possible.

THE SESSION DAY

EDITING & DELIVERY

Now because of my slight obsession with editing and my 100% commitment to delivering a perfect gallery, I normally can have your images to you within 48hrs.
Please take note that during busy periods like Christmas I follow a structured system where I will only start a new gallery once the previous gallery has been delivered to my client.
You will receive an email with details to log into your gallery where you can create a password and the option to order prints and products through my online platform.
I am currently in the process of designing some collection packages into my website but in the meantime if you need any help please reach out. (Additional costs at client’s expense.)

I'm actually obsessed with this stage! Here I put all of my love and creative skills into tweaking and creating a gallery that has you falling head over heals. I normally like to share up to three sneak peeks on my socials before finalising and delivering your images and at the absolute most you will have your finalised gallery within 2 weeks of your session.

WHAT TO WEAR TO YOUR SESSION

The single most important consideration when choosing your outfits is that you all feel comfortable and confident. You need to like how you all look in your pictures as you’ll be keeping them forever.
Focus on accomplishing a cohesive look and dressing in outfits that will allow your photos to take on a timeless feel.

Your clothing should reflect your family style! I always recommend that mum finds something she feels amazing in, then work the rest of the family out from there. I like to encourage families to head out for a little shopping day and buy something you know you will all love and wear again. Of course, the most important part of your family session is to document the love that your family shares.

LOCATION GUIDE

Family photos are timeless and if you are looking to update your family photos or take some for the first time, you might be wondering about what location to use for them.
In my family sessions, we smile and laugh a lot as I capture you just being yourselves. If some of your family members are shy then you might not want to choose a very public spot.
Choose a location that fits in with who you are as a family.
Your location should speak to your personalities.
I generally like to stick to locations that provide a natural shooting environment, such as a local beach, state park or outdoor picnic area.
